WHERE IT ALL STARTED
FROM THE BEGINNING
On December 22nd, 2019, during a holiday visit home, Bianca and Tedros’ paths finally crossed. From across the room, Tedros noticed Bianca enjoying wings among a lively crowd and cracked a joke that caught her off guard. Charmed by his humor and confidence, Bianca agreed to share her number.
With only three days before Bianca returned to LA, Tedros made every moment count. Their first date was an impromptu wing date, where they bonded over art and laughter. The second was dinner at a West Philly Eritrean restaurant, where Tedros introduced Bianca to his culture and the flavors of home. For their final date, they watched New Year’s fireworks from a rooftop overlooking Penn’s Landing, a moment that perfectly captured the spark between them.
What began as a chance meeting over wings turned into a deep connection that would bridge cities and cultures and lead them here today.
HOW HE SEALED THE DEAL
THE PROPOSAL
On December 19th, 2024, Ted stayed true to the humor that first brought them together. During a group trip to Aspen, Colorado, Bianca was tricked into thinking Ted and his best friend Fonz were in trouble after a playful exchange. She rushed out to check on them and found Ted dramatically falling to his knee in “pain.” But instead of an injury, he pulled out a ring. Overlooking the hot springs and snow-covered mountains, Ted asked Bianca to marry him. Overwhelmed with joy, they both cried, reflecting on the journey that led them there.
